Is it safe to use credit card on PandaBuy? Yes, it is safe to pay with a credit card or PayPal. Alternatively, you can use Wise transfer; it has a lower handling fee than PayPal. It will not be my first time shopping on PandaBuy—in fact, it is the umpteenth. So, be confident.

PandaBuy is one of the topmost Chinese e-commerce websites that we enjoy shopping on. When it comes to making payments there are a plethora of payment methods to choose from.

However, as popular and highly rated this platform is, some people are still skeptical and want to know if it is safe to use a credit card on PandaBuy. Again, you could simply use PayPal to make your payment. But what if your account is currently not working and you do not have any of the other methods, is it safe to use your credit card on PandaBuy? Keep on reading this article to find out.

Is It Safe to Use Credit Card on PandaBuy?

Is It Safe to Use Credit Card On PandaBuy

Yes, it is safe to use credit card on PandaBuy. This answer is not based on just my experience with PandaBuy but on collective opinions.

PandaBuy (both website and app) uses industry-standard encryption to protect sensitive customer information. This includes SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption for data transmitted between your browser and their servers.

There are also measures in place to protect against fraud and unauthorized access to customer accounts. PandBuy also uses Stripe as its payment processor. If you find it difficult to trust PandaBuy, you can use PayPal instead of your credit card.

Now moving on to reviews, with Trustpilot and Scamadviser giving PandaBuy an average rating of 3.4 stars out of 5 and a Trustscore of 100/100 respectively. I noticed a majority of the positive reviews on both sites talk about how PandaBuy makes ordering goods from Chinese vendors easy for buyers and the glut of payment options they offer. Others compliment PandaBuy’s services based on how safe they find it.

I also took into account the negative reviews and discovered the majority of them were talking about inefficiencies in the ordering process such as; receiving counterfeit items, contraband items, wrong shipping addresses, issues with the app, and other minor things.

In reality, all of these complaints are mostly down to postal service issues, and dishonest sellers on PandaBuy’s platform. Even fake third-party apps downloaded by unsuspecting individuals can be a problem. None of which is entirely PandaBuy’s fault by the way.

Lastly, there are a few negative reviews in which users rant about getting random amounts of money deducted from either their PandaBuy wallets or credit/debit cards on file.

However, what I discovered was that those with these complaints were victims of phishing scams, and or fake third-party apps downloaded from unofficial sources. I can categorically inform you that it is safe to use your credit card on PandaBuy. Make sure you’re on the actual website or app, and take certain measures to protect your device or credit card information.

If you’re still not convinced of PandaBuy’s safety, then I suggest you get a virtual credit card service. You can also check if your credit card issuer has that feature. A win-win for you.

How Safe is Your Credit Card on PandaBuy?

A credit card is a safe payment method on PandaBuy. And this is largely due to the robust security measures PandaBuy has in place.

As previously mentioned, PandaBuy uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to encrypt your credit card information. This makes it unreadable without the necessary decryption keys. It means that even hackers won’t be able to access your sensitive data.

Make sure to acknowledge that no security system is entirely foolproof. In the rare event that your information is stolen somehow, the cybercriminals would have only gained temporary access to your credit, and not your actual funds.

In the unlikely event of fraud occurring after using your credit card, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) stipulates that your liability as a cardholder is limited to a maximum of $50 if you report the fraudulent charges on time. You have nothing to worry about as your credit card issuer will promptly investigate any fraudulent activity and take care of things for you.

  1. credit cards
  2. Alipay
  3. Alipay Plus
  4. Stripe

PandaBuy does not manufacture its own goods. Instead, it plays an intermediary role to make shopping and shipping easier for international customers seeking real and affordable replicas of branded items. PandaBuy interface is user friendly and customers can browse through a wide array of product categories. You can also compare prices, and place orders through an extensive network of Chinese suppliers.

Customers can find products that might not be available in their local markets, and the best part is that the prices from PandaBuy’s suppliers are often some of the most competitive worldwide.

Add to cart and set destination

Now, click ‘Buy Now’ to add the item to your cart. But just take a moment to review the item in your cart to be sure it’s the right one.

Choose the destination country. Remember that PandaBuy acts as your intermediary, purchasing the item and delivering it to your location. You can select the destination country from the list provided.

Although Chinese domestic delivery duration is around 3-5 working days, in most cases, it takes around a week for the item to reach your PandaBuy Warehouse.

Managing Your PandaBuy Warehouse

After receiving items, PandayBuy will inspect and weigh the items for you to determine the item’s status. They then store them in the warehouse, which takes 1 working day to complete.

To oversee the items in your warehouse, access your PandaBuy account and navigate to the ‘Warehouse’ section. You should see the product you ordered listed there.

Shipping Your Product

Payment for Shipping

Go to the ‘Warehouse’ section to submit the delivery order, enter the receiver address, choose the logistics company, and check out the international delivery fee, customs clearance fee, and other related costs, such as package removal, package strengthening, etc.

Similar to the product payment, you’ll need to make a shipping payment. Choose your preferred method, whether it’s PayPal or a credit card, and complete the transaction.

Product Delivery

Once you complete the payment for shipping, the product will be dispatched to your specified address. You’ll receive tracking information to monitor the delivery progress.
